Products

ILC offers a full line of emergency power controls to sense a power outage and control the lights to meet UL924 requirements. The shunt relay is used on designated emergency lights to shunt or bypass around the lighting controls when a normal power outage occurs. The emergency power control device is used when normal and emergency lights are both being controlled by the lighting control panel, and when an outage occurs, normal lights are turned Off and emergency lights automatically turn On to meet the emergency lighting requirements.

UL924 Emergency Power Control Device Options

  • EPC-A-1: 20A Emergency Power Control (Junction Box/Fixture Mount)

This device is mounted in a 4-11/16¨ junction box or enclosure. It is provided with an automatic test function that keeps the emergency fixture ON an additional 2.5 seconds to verify functionality. This is a dual voltage 120/277VAC control device for up to 20 amp loads.

  • EPC-1: 20A Emergency Power Control (Flush Mount)

This device is mounted flush to the ceiling in a 4-11/16¨ junction box with a single gang plaster ring. It is provided with an automatic test function that keeps the emergency fixture ON an additional 2.5 seconds to verify functionality as well as a manual test button on the cover. This is a dual voltage 120/277VAC control device for up to 20 amp loads.

  • EPC-1-RT: 20A Emergency Power Transfer Control with Fire Alarm Contact

This is an EPC-1 that can take an override control from a fire alarm through a N.C. dry contact signal.   • EPC-PM: 20A Emergency Power Control (Plenum Mount)

This device is mounted above the ceiling in a 4-11/16¨ junction box with a center 1/2¨ knock-out cover. It is provided with a manual test button accessible through the knock-out. This device is ordered voltage specific for 120 or 277VAC and controls loads up to 20 amps.

This device automatically brings emergency 0-10V fixtures ON and to full brightness during a power interruption.   • EPC-D-F: Emergency Power Transfer Control

This device can bypass 2-, 3-, or 4-wire dimming loads, and can also be used on step dimmed loads. The device is mounted flush to the ceiling directly onto a 4-11/16¨ junction box. It is provided with a manual test button on the cover to verify functionality. This device is ordered voltage specific for 120 or 277VAC and controls loads up to 20 amps.

The EPC-2-D is the evolution of our popular EPC line, ideally addressing widespread use for dimmable LED fixtures in all applications. The EPC-2-D is compatible with 0-10V dimmers, room controllers, switches, occupancy sensors, relay panels, and many other lighting control devices. The attractive flush mounted package allows the device to be installed in the space, or remotely.

  • EPC-D-F-ATS

The EPC-D-F-ATS is the one of the only UL1008 listed device for branch circuit emergency lighting control. it is unparalleled in its functionality and reliability. The EPC-D-F-ATS can be used with any dimming system (line voltage, 0-10V, 3-wire, DALI, and more) and ensures that during a power interruption emergency lights will illuminate at full brightness. A triple safety design including time delay, mechanical, and electrical interlocks prevents inadvertent cross-connection, even in the event of device failure. The attractive universal mount package allows the device to be installed flush or surface in the space, or remotely.
